Laying the foundation of our winery.
In 1777, Antonius Radits proudly laid the foundation for our esteemed winery, marking the beginning of a lasting legacy.

Building of the historic wine press
In 1821, the wine press, still preserved today, was built in the 'Weiß' cellar, named after an ancestor who played a significant role in the history of our winery. Although no longer in operation, it now serves as a historic decoration, a reminder of times gone by. While it no longer contributes to wine production, it remains a cherished heirloom and a silent witness to the legacy of our family.

The Vine Blossom in the Cellar Book: The Origin of our Logo.
In 1906, an ancestor created an intricate sketch in the cellar book that elegantly reflects not only our connection to viticulture but also our family’s heritage. From this artistic depiction, we derived the calligraphic 'K' that now serves as the central element of our logo. This 'K' represents not only our family name but also the values we have upheld across generations. It symbolizes the bond between tradition and modernity, and our commitment to carry these roots into the future.

Renovation of the old stable into a cozy wine room
In 2012, the old stable belonging to Andreas’ parents, Doris and Ernst, was transformed into a wine lounge for tastings, weddings, and celebrations. The space, previously used as a bottle-washing room, combines traditional charm with modern touches and now provides the perfect setting for special occasions.

A new chapter: The winery in our hands.
In 2021, we embraced the incredible responsibility of taking over the Kiesling winery, opening a heartfelt new chapter in its long and cherished story. Guided by fresh ideas and a deep respect for tradition, we are dedicated to nurturing and strengthening this legacy for the generations to come. Carrying the winery into the future is not just a challenge - it’s a passionate journey we undertake with commitment, love, and pride. Here begins our story: to honor the past, elevate quality, and create new milestones rooted in the soul of this remarkable place.
2021
Deeply rooted in tradition, inspired by what lies ahead.
The Kiesling winery is our family’s heritage. What began in 1777 with Antonius Radits began, lives on today in our hands. Over the years, the winery has carried different names, as it was often passed down through the maternal line. But one thing has always remained the same: the passion and dedication for viticulture.
With every wine we produce, we nurture not only a tradition but also a story that is passed down from generation to generation. The name of the winery may have changed, but the values quality, responsibility and sustainability have remained.
Today, with the name Kiesling, we stand for continuity and carry the heritage with pride and responsibility into the future, always connected to our home Mannersdorf an der March in the southern Weinviertel region, which shapes and inspires us.
